Private Picassos, the mobile art studio based in New York City, will offer free Graffiti Paintings for kids at the Brooklyn Flea Saturday September 28th. Kids will get inspiration from the expressive graffiti and street art throughout the city and create their own colorful masterpieces using stencils, spray bottles and much more.  Information about Private Picassos’ In-Home and On-Site programming will be available, as well as a free raffle for an In-Home Group Art Lesson.

Make Meaning NYC

Just because school’s out, doesn’t mean kids can’t hit the books this summer.

Make Meaning, the ultimate experiential creativity-based retail destination, is now offering their guests a new hands on activity – Bookmaking – after its acquisition of Scribble Press, a retail DIY book publishing concept. The company has also acquired Scribble Press’ extensive library of storytelling and art classes that will be available at Make Meaning locations over the next year. Bookmaking was launched at Make Meaning’s Upper West Side location on July 16th.

With summer now here, there are so many fun ways to spend family time.

Why not have a look at today's diary for some inspiration.
