LAST WEEK for Eric Carle’s World of Wildlife at Bronx Zoo

This summer, guests at the Bronx Zoo have really been enjoying Eric Carle’s World of Wildlife. If you haven’t had a chance to join this event, you have until August 29th to get in on the fun.

Ignite your family’s imagination with performances, puppet shows, music, games, and other activities that bring the works of this beloved author to life, then visit the real life animals who inspired them for a completely immersive experience. Featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?, The Very Busy Spider, and The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, this is a unique opportunity to experience his stories in a very special way.

After a performance of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, head over to The Butterfly Garden and discover many different species of real butterflies. Did you know that butterfly colors and patterns serve as protection from predators?

Stop by The Big Bear Exhibit to see the real life brown bears. Our bears love to swim, hunt for fish, and cool off in the water. Once you’ve visited the bears, see how many of the other animals featured in his books you can find at the zoo.
