MAD Family Fun Day @ Museum of Arts & Design Join in with a day filled with fun, laughter, and art at MAD’s Family Fun Day. Inspired by their exhibition, The Art of Scent, join MAD in an engaging, interactive, hands-on education experience designed to illuminate on the science of olfaction, the complexity of scents, and the art of perfumery as you create your own personal fragrance. Gutai Artist-Led Family Tour and Workshop @ Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Gutai artists Matsutani Takesada and Horio Sadaharu engage families in creating Gutai-inspired art. Visit the galleries and participate in an art-making workshop that embraces Gutai’s participatory and experimental spirit. Ages 4-12.

Mardi Gras For The Byrant Park Kids! Celebrate the carnival season with a decadent Mardi Gras party for the kids at Le Carrousel in Bryant Park. The festivities planned include a magic show by Carrousel Magique favorite R.J. Lewis, candy coins, mask bedazzling, and bead catching. Wear your green, gold and purple finery to join the Bryant Park Krewe in a Mardi Gras celebration with music provided by Dr. Zsa’s Powdered Zydeco Band. The party's on Saturday, Feb 9 from 1pm-2pm.
