Battery Park Montessori, a Green Ivy International School, is New York’s first trilingual Montessori school offering Spanish, Mandarin, and English language immersive experiences. Located on the riverfront in Battery Park City, our classrooms are filled with natural light and our safe, enclosed patio space, with the Statue of Liberty visible in the distance, allows our students to run, build and garden. Montessori-trained teachers nurture each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, academic, and physical needs, fostering independence, natural curiosity, and problem-solving abilities. 

Our trilingual language program complements a young child’s natural predisposition to new sounds and rhythms. At Battery Park Montessori, we expose our students to both Mandarin and Spanish with trained, native language speaking teachers in each classroom throughout the day, every day. In this way, all our students benefit from both immersive instruction and daily exposure to Mandarin, Spanish and English.

Through our intentional program, we ignite a child’s natural desire to learn with an environment that is authentic, nurturing, warm, and ultimately transformative. Our students transition to elementary school with strong academic skills, and they are empowered with foundational life skills.
