Richmond County Fair

The Richmond County Fair is Staten Island’s annual community celebration and Historic Richmond Town’s biggest fundraiser. For 41 years, Historic Richmond Town has hosted the Richmond County Fair, and we are honored to welcome everyone to enjoy the best of Staten Island.

39th Annual Queens County Fair
September 9 – September 11
Location: Queens County Farm, 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Queens, NY 11004

Enjoy the traditional nostalgia of carnival rides, midway games, and pie-eating contests while exploring the agricultural splendor of the Queens County Farm Museum.* Try your luck in our corn husking contest, get on board for a tractor-drawn hayride, or be the first to find your way out of The Amazing Maize Maze on its opening weekend. We’ll also be hosting blue ribbon competitions in produce, arts & crafts, and more – just like they did at the first-ever county fair in 1693.

The Feast of San Gennaro 2022

At the turn of the 20th century when Italian immigrants settled on the lower east side of Manhattan each region settled on a different street. The Neapolitans settled on Mulberry St.

In 1926 with keeping their Neapolitan traditions they decided to have a one day block party for their patron saint and protector of Naples, San Gennaro which continued year after year something that has now and for decades become not only a New York icon but a world known 11 day event which stretches throughout 11 blocks of the Little Italy neighborhood.

A Weekend of Free Performances, Installations, and Participatory Activations for Young People and Families with Autism
and Developmental Disabilities

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts will welcome young audiences with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families for a free weekend of programming at Big Umbrella Festival from September 16-18, 2022!

For three days, this campus-wide festival will feature performances, installations, workshops, and online content designed with and for neurodiverse audiences.

Taking place both indoors and outdoors, families are invited to choose from four timed slots on Saturday and Sunday, plus a Friday night session dedicated to teens and young adults.

The Queens Night Market is a large, family-friendly open-air night market in Queens, featuring up to 100 independent vendors selling merchandise, art, and food and featuring small-scale cultural performances, all celebrating the rich cultural diversity and heritage of NYC and Queens.

Carnaval de la Cultura Latina 2022

The Carnaval’s goal is to promote the art, music, dance, and great food from Latino cultures, as well as a day of fun for the whole family.  The vendors will provide the attendees with all kinds of Latin American arts and crafts, music, food and many other items. Children’s entertainment will include inflatables rides, face painting, games, and lots of giveaways. As in the past Carnaval, we will include a Health and Wellness component that will include more free health screening than last years.
