School Holiday Programs: Mid-Winter Break
Practice your scientist skills, create art using botanical materials, start veggies in our greenhouse, and connect with new friends this winter! Together, we’ll explore the work of Black scientists, gardeners, environmentalists, and food justice advocates, in celebration of Black History Month. Each day, we will use indoor and outdoor tools to explore themes of sustainability, botanical arts, food preservation, hibernation, composting, the many powers of herbs, winter gardening, wildlife resiliency, and bug anatomy. This program is for drop-off only and takes place both outdoors and indoors. Masks are not required. We kindly require that all children are able to use the bathroom independently. Register for individual days, or save by selecting the “Full Week (4 days) Savings Bundle” ticket, for all 4 days.
***Please read all program information below before registering. If you have questions and would like to speak to someone on our team, contact kidsprograms@queensbotanical.org or 718.886.3800, ext. 218.***
