Whats On For Kids in NYC This Weekend: January 9 & 10

Well, we are racing through the start of January already. With lots to keep the little ones having fun this weekend, we are highlighting our picks below…

Watson Adventures’ Wizard School Virtual Scavenger Hunt
January 9, 5pm – 6:30pm
Online, hosted by Watson Adventures
$19 per person
Ages 10+

Grab your magic wands for a wizarding adventure that takes you to museums across America in search of art that echoes characters, places, and magical objects in the famed Harry Potter books and movies, all without leaving your home. You’ll track down bizarre creatures, slithering serpents, men who might remind you of Voldemort and Nearly Headless Nick, trophies that seem straight out of the Triwizard Tournament, and eerie figures as scary as any Death Eater or Dementor. Along the way, you’ll virtually visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Gallery of Art, and more! This hunt is not an addition to or variation on Harry’s adventures, but instead, references to the books will provide a surprising bridge to many strange and wonderful works of art.
