Cabin Fever Reliever – Candle Making Workshops

$50 for up a group of up to 6 people

Join us this winter for Candle Making Workshops! Learn about the history of lighting and make your own taper candles to take home. A great activity for the whole family! Workshops will be held indoors at the 3rd County Courthouse, with limited capacity to ensure safety. Workshops are available as group slots at scheduled times.

Family Art Project: Stories of Small Worlds

Everyone has a story to share – what’s yours? Transform rocks into landmarks, cardboard into characters and bottle caps into story arcs. Explore the art of oral storytelling by creating your own storytelling props, from small treasures found in nature to up-cycled materials. Then get ready to share the magic as you pull together these newly crafted props to tell a new story every time.

Clay Experience Workshop

Play with Clay! Experience the unique sensory of clay as create your own texturized piece of art. Parents may attend at no additional charge to make this a Parent and Me workshop! (optional)

Open seven days a week, PLAYDAY provides indoor and outdoor creative activities for children 6+ in a safe small group studio environment with highly educated and experienced instructors. Class sizes will be limited to 12 children – each getting their own workstation (6’ apart), sterilized tools, and materials – with only one group of participants each day, age 6 and older.

Understanding that the world is shaping a “new Normal” PLAYDAY will also offer children the ability to connect from home with all in-person activities to continue to accommodate each family’s unique health, safety, and scheduling concerns.
