The International Academy of New York is a multicultural and diverse independent school for Pre-Nursery (age 2) through Grade 8. We are located at 4 East 90th, right next to Central Park along Museum Mile, where world-renowned museums act as extensions of our classrooms. Our early childhood program (half day or full day) is play-based, with lots of movement and music, and as our children grow through the grades, schedules become more structured but still child-centered. Our exceptional academics focus on excellence in literacy and math, and our bilingual program teaches students in every grade either Spanish or Chinese through immersion classes. Music and art in the target language are a daily experience for all of our students.
