For more than 20 years, The Co-op School has pioneered an engaging community-and project-led approach to learning. Rooted in the belief that understanding and active participation foster appreciation for the world, our summer camp integrates fun activities, learning experiences, wellness practices, and community action—all balanced with summertime joy. Our Camp serves children ages 2-10, with both early drop-off and extended day hours available, making it an ideal place for busy parents with young siblings looking for an enriching, reputable and nurturing environment for their children this summer.

The daily structure fosters a sense of community and excitement. Campers enjoy free play, followed by a morning kick-off centered around the weekly theme. Each day is packed with theme activities, classes like Capoeira, Gardening, and Musical Play, as well as outdoor adventures and weekly trips to diverse destinations.

Thoughtfully designed weekly themes engage campers in diverse experiences, from building community bonds and exploring the relationship between humanity and nature to celebrating local culture through music and understanding city transportation dynamics.

Special guests throughout the summer share insights on community action, inspiring campers to make a difference. Notable themes like “Community Superheroes” and “Splash & Learn” explore clean water sources and environmental care.

Campers culminate their journey with “Creative Action,” planning and launching an art show in the school’s gymnasium.

The full-day program runs from 9 am to 3 pm, with half-day options (exclusive to 2 & 3-year-olds) from 9 am to 12 pm. Early drop-off and extended day programs are available for an additional charge. Co-op Summer Camp fees, spanning from June 17th to August 16, 2024, are $595 for the full-day program and $365 for half-day programs (2 & 3 year olds). Siblings enjoy a 10% discount, with payments being non-refundable and non-transferable—a commitment to a summer filled with enriching experiences.
