Established in 2017, our small school community offers a caring environment for a diverse population of students Pre-Nursery to Grade 5. The approach to learning includes a solid core curriculum taught in English and enhanced by language learning through daily Art and Music classes delivered in either Spanish or Chinese. Our students spend at least 40% of their week expressing themselves in the target language. In addition to the full day program, morning or afternoon options are available for Early Childhood classrooms 2-5 days a week. Red Hook Playgroup
Red Hook Playgroup is a progressive preschool on Columbia Street, a convenient location for Columbia Waterfront, Carroll Gardens and Red Hook families. We provide a rich, creative community based early education for children between ages 2.4 and 5.

Pusteblume International Preschool is NYC’s only non-profit, fully licensed, independent preschool offering German and Spanish language immersion. Some of our children participate in both language programs in a weekly rotation.
