Discover What Sets Dwight Preschool Apart!
The preschool years are an exciting time for growth and exploration, and we’re delighted to introduce children to their first classroom experience in our warm, nurturing environment. Our experts in early childhood education foster children’s interests and skill development. In Dwight’s tradition of “igniting the spark of genius in every child,” we help our youngest students begin to unlock their unique talents and interests and allow their natural abilities to flourish.
Our student-centered approach encourages children to discover the world around them while they learn to connect with others and develop a strong sense of self. Additionally, Dwight’s International Baccalaureate curriculum — “the gold standard” worldwide — begins in Preschool, setting children on a path to becoming caring, inquiring, globally minded learners, critical thinkers, and problem-solvers.
Our team of early education experts includes specialists, who share their passion with students in world languages — we offer early instruction in Mandarin and Spanish beginning in Preschool — along with music, library, studio, and physical health and wellness.
Our Preschool is part of Dwight School, an internationally recognized nursery-grade 12 independent school located on the Upper West Side. We are expanding with a second Preschool and Kindergarten Campus at West 94th Street, welcoming families in Fall 2022.
