Child’s Play NY parties are tailor-made, joyful celebrations of your kid’s creativity!
After a consultation, Child’s Play NY teachers create an exciting party built from theater games to fit your child’s interests. They expertly lead the guests in a high-energy party, fueled by imagination.
Featured as the best party entertainment in Time Out NY Kids, providing unique and joyful birthday celebrations for over 10 years!

Here’s what makes Child’s Play NY parties unique:
- Theater teachers bring improvisation and play to a whole new level as they lovingly make your child the star of the day.
- They throw a spotlight on creative games for a party your child and their guests will never forget.
- If you can imagine it, it can be played! Choose from a menu of themes or create your own, like “Spies vs Police”, “Mad Hatter Tea Party” or “Harry Potter Adventures.”
75 minutes of led games and activities starts at $400 for 15 kids.
Parties are held in your home, or space of your choice.

Birthday Parties at DiMenna Children’s History Museum
Become a history detective on your birthday! Let our Museum staff help you create a meaningful and memorable birthday for your child!
Have a blast at our classic History Detectives party – or customize your birthday experience with a Featured History Party ! All listed prices are for parties of up to 12 child guests (including the birthday child) and include planning and party staff, paper goods, balloons, birthday poster, goodie bags, pizza, juice boxes, bottled water, and cake. Adult guests receive free Museum Admission and are welcome to join the celebration or enjoy the Museum galleries during the party.
Birthday parties are designed for kids ages 4 and up and are offered on Saturdays and Sundays during Museum hours, subject to availability.

Have Birthday Fun at Bronx Zoo
The Bronx Zoo offers two varieties of Birthday parties: A “Choose your Own Adventure” package and a more inclusive “Birthday Safari”. Both parties include exciting animal demonstrations in a private party space, along with activities for the children, a private tour of the Congo Exhibit, and much more.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE PARTIES are 1.5 hours long, and are available Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am-12pm.
SAFARI BIRTHDAY EXPEDITIONS are 3 hours long, and are available Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30–4:30pm.
