July 6 — August 27, 2021
Full Day and Half Day
One of the most popular choices for art camps in the New York City area, Summer Studios at Children’s Museum of the Arts champions children’s creativity and artistic expression within a welcoming and nurturing environment. This summer, we are pleased to debut 30+ programs over three locations — 103 Charlton Street in SoHo, the LeFrak Center in Lakeside at Prospect Park, and online.
Each week throughout the summer, children participate in a diverse range of art practices, as well as field trips to neighboring museums and galleries and fun outdoor activities. Children’s artwork created during the week also has the opportunity to be featured in CMA’s forthcoming television show, The Look Make Show. The week concludes with a “show and tell” celebration for friends and families members to view students’ artwork created during the week.
Kids in the Game Summer Camps
At Kids in the Game, we’re providing a better way to play all summer long. Your camper will get to experience swimming, creative and performing arts, outdoor adventure, and of course team sports and games, all in the same day! Our camp includes theme weeks and exciting field trips that you won’t want to miss, like a trip to Governor’s Island or a Mets game!
Through these activities, campers gain new experiences, develop friendships outside of their school communities, and learn from kid-approved, adult mentors who make each day more adventurous than the last.
This summer more than ever, safety is top of mind. In 2020 we successfully ran 4 camps for over 400 campers, and we had 0 COVID cases. More importantly, we created a space for kids to be kids again. We wore our masks, shifted our programming, and tapped into our creativity. And this summer, we can’t wait to do it again. We have 8 weeks for you to choose from, so your kids are sure to have a ton of fun all summer long!
