Teaching Tech to Students Who Learn Differently
Dive into different tech topics this summer with fun workshops designed for neurodiverse students ages 10-24. Tech Kids Unlimited (TKU) will offer in-person and virtual workshops where you can learn about different tech topics each week.
TKU creates a supportive and fun environment where neurodiverse students can:
- Unleash their creative genius: We offer different workshops each week, so there’s always something new to learn, from game design and animation to video editing and 3D modeling.
- Be themselves: At TKU, individuality is celebrated! Whether you’re a social butterfly or a quiet observer, you’ll find a welcoming community where you can express yourself comfortably.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment: All classrooms are equipped with sensory kits and utilize the UDL framework to ensure every student can participate meaningfully, following their learning styles. Social workers are also present to provide additional support in the classroom.
- Build confidence: Our workshops are designed to be fun and interactive, so you can learn at your own pace and gain the confidence to tackle any tech challenge.
Topics include: Game Design (July 8 – 12), Digital Art & Animation (July 15 – 19), Photo Editing & Video Production (July 22 – 26), Creative Coding & STEM Maker Lab (July 29 – Aug 2), 3D Modeling & Game Development (Aug 5 – 9)
Need-Based Financial Aid is Available. Early Bird Pricing ends on May 15. Workshops range from $99 to $179 per week.
