12 Jun Take Two Film Academy Summer Camps
Take Two Film Academy gives young moviemakers fun ways to stay creative this summer, both in person and online! In-person Film Camps teach how to make a movie: from scriptwriting, using professional cameras and acting to editing using Final Cut Pro. Every week features a different theme, such as 3D Movies, Animation and Special Effects! Workshops culminate in two or more short films to share with friends and family. Camps run weekly, 9:00–4:00 for ages 8-14.
Online workshops offer live lessons with access to our exclusive video tutorials and set aside time for one-on-one help. Intro to Filmmaking is perfect for kids just getting started. Groups of 5 or fewer work together on a short film where they act at home and edit using online software. Intro Camps run 9:00-11:30 am and 12:00-2:30 pm for ages 8-12. The Advanced Filmmaking online workshop is open to students comfortable working on their own and want to take their skills to the next level! Weekly themes inspire kids to create their own personal short films. Advanced Camps run 9:00-10:30 am and 1:00-2:30 pm with additional 20 minutes 1-on-1 time per day, for ages 9-14. All workshops end with a virtual screening party!
