Camp Intrepid is our full-day school break program where history and STEM come together! Each day children dive into exciting projects related to the aircraft carrier Intrepid, the Museum’s collections of air and spacecraft, historical artifacts and modern technology to assist them in their exploration. Children think critically, question the world around them and explore topics related to the history and science of our collections while having fun!

Robofun STEAM workshops are offered during school vacation days, holidays, and our popular summer camps. Our vacation day curriculums are designed for maximum fun coupled with hands-on learning. While we take our programs seriously, we recognize that your child knows there is “no school” and we ensure that they are engaged while enjoying their time with us. We offer extended hours from 8:15 am – 8:45 am and 4:00 pm – 5: 00 pm. Extended hours are available for an additional $20 each.
Regardless of which class they take, or how many times they have taken it, our students are always challenged, and when they are ready they work on new and interesting challenges.
Taste Buds Kitchen Spring Break Camps
A new and unique menu is offered each week. Sign up for a more than one week, or even a single day. Class size is limited to provide a hands-on cooking experience for every budding chef to maximize learning and creativity.
Every day you will make two to three recipes – always one savory and one sweet – while whipping up batches of fun. Younger chefs focus on the basics along with kitchen games while older campers tackle advanced techniques and culinary challenges. Professional Culinary Instructors and kid experts lead the way for a camp your budding chef won’t soon forget! A TBK apron is included for each full-week camper as well as flexible drop-off from 8:30-9:00am and late pick-up for a small fee. Children ages 10+ can apply to be a Counselor-In-Training for a full day experience.
