Kids are obsessed with our After School class Splat Lab, so we expanded Splat Camp to the UWS. Splat Camp is popular with all kinds of different personalities. Kids who like art, space, biology, unicorns or building stuff all LOVE Splat Camp. We are #ProNerd all day.

Every day kids make gooey projects like rainbow snow and cloud clay. We spend plenty of time outside playing games and making friends. All kids feel a sense of belonging at Splat! We explore ancient mythology, build giant cup castles, and make pipe cleaner puppets. Kids always have tons of choices, whether it’s different stations or a variety of materials for a project.

Kids are obsessed with our after school class Splat Lab, so we expanded Splat Camp to the Upper West Side! Splat Camp is the ultimate creative science experience for kids who love art, space, biology, unicorns, building stuff, or all of the above. We are Pro Nerd all day long, and every kid who walks through our doors finds their people here.

Every day, kids make incredible gooey projects from scratch. Think rainbow snow, cloud clay, glitter slimes, and stretchy creations kids are genuinely proud to show off. No two campers end up with the same thing. Kids always have tons of choices, whether rotating through different stations or selecting from a variety of colors, textures, and materials to make a project totally their own.

What makes Splat Camp truly one of a kind is our Anthropology Arts program. Kids travel the world without leaving the room. One day we explore ancient mythology from Iceland or West Africa, the next we discover folklore from Korean or Pakistani culture. We build giant cup castles, craft pipe cleaner puppets, and connect every messy, joyful project back to real cultures, real history, and real science. Kids leave each day knowing something new, and they barely noticed they were learning because they were having too much fun to stop.

Outdoor time is just as important as studio time. Every day, campers head outside for two full hours to play games, explore, and decompress. Whether kids are running around or hanging out at their own pace, outside is where a lot of the best friendships happen. We build in real unstructured play because kids need it and love it.

Splat Camp is great for every kind of kid. Super shy? We have got you. Bouncing off the walls? We have got you too. Kids who need a quiet corner and kids who want to be first in line for every game both thrive here. We structure each day so there is something for everyone, indoors and out, calm and active, solo and group. Every camper feels seen, welcomed, and excited to come back.
Our staff are experienced, energetic, and genuinely love this work. The camp runs smoothly so kids stay focused on having fun.
