Gliding Opportunities for All Ages, New Flavors from Alkemy Ice Cream, a Giant Queens-Themed Coloring Wall, & More!

Visit New York Hall of Science over the long weekend for the Grand Opening of SciSkate, a popular indoor Glice rink! What makes this rink extra special is that you can experience the winter wonderland feeling indoors while staying warm! Even better: they have skates, skate aids, AND booties so that ice lovers of all ages and comfort levels can glide around like a pro!

This year there are also TWO new additions.

1) A Queens-themed Winter Wonderland coloring wall and lounge area
2) Alkemy Ice Cream’s debut of THREE NEW FLAVORS: Vanilla Vortex, Cookie Butter, and Peppermint White Chocolate

SciSkate will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 29th through most of February. Timed-entrance tickets to the rink can be bought when here. The cost is $10 with regular admission, $8 for most member levels, and FREE for those with Rocket-level memberships. You can also buy a NYSCI Plus Pass in advance to get access to SciSkate, three movies currently screening, and (weather permitting) Rocket Park Mini Golf and the Science Playground.
