Science, Language & Arts International School is an independent Nursery to Grade 8 school in Brooklyn, focused on the hands-on integration of science with visual arts, language, and math, and committed to providing children with a rich and rigorous multilingual, multicultural, and anti-racist education in French and Mandarin.
Science, Language & Arts International School was founded on a deep-seated belief in the limitless capabilities of children. Our hands-on, project-based approach is informed by brain development research and promotes collaborative learning and critical thinking.
At SLA, students’ innate curiosity and creativity is nurtured and celebrated through exploration, observation, and experimentation. Our integrated curriculum and language-immersive environment provides a context for learning that deepens students’ understanding and broadens their perspectives.
