Reserve Your Skate Time in Advance at The Rink, Bryant Park

Bank of America Winter Village opens today (October 31), and The Rink, Holiday Shops, and The Lodge all return to comprise one of the city’s most popular holiday destinations.

The centerpiece for Winter Village is The Rink, 17,000 square feet of pristine ice that hosts free admission skating with high-quality skate rentals, free skating shows, special events, and many other activities. It’s a popular spot, but with all that activity, it can get crowded. To expedite your entry, you can now reserve your entry time and purchase skate rentals in advance by visiting the Winter Village website and choosing your date and time. While you’re there, don’t forget to select a storage option, as we require all bags, shoes and other items to be safely secured while you are on the ice. Then when you come to the park, go straight to the Ticket Holder line.

With the new reservation system, admission to The Rink is still free if you bring your own skates and lock. If you don’t want to skate, but want to come with a friend or family member, there’s a non-skating option that gives you access to just the Skating Pavilion.

For the ultimate skating experience, upgrade to Premium Skate. This package includes a dedicated entrance, skate concierge, Polar Lounge access, refreshments, skate rental, and bag check.

If you’re at the park and didn’t reserve a time to skate, but don’t want to wait in line, you can purchase Express Skate, priority access that will get you onto the ice much more quickly. Another option for avoiding long waits is to come to The Rink during off-peak times: before 10am on weekdays, and before noon on weekends.

The Rink is open daily, 8am-10pm, through March 1.
