16 Jun New York Aquarium Will Be Fully Re-Opened From July 1
Summer break is just a couple of weeks away, and after a decade of rebuilding since the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, beginning July 1st, the New York Aquarium will be fully open, fully restored, AND fully amazing!!
Be one of the first to explore the inspiring NEW exhibit, Sea Change. Enjoy amazing underwater views of the sea lions, penguins, harbor seals, and sea otters. You can check out their underwater acrobatics, and when they come up to the glass to check you out, you’ll come face-to-face with these charismatic animals.
On reopening day, July 1st, you can join in the celebrations with a program of special events including keeper talks, diver chats, Wildlife Theater, music, trivia, sand sculpture, and more! Join in for a fun-filled summer day at the beach.
And, with over 500 species of wildlife, there’s always something amazing to discover at New York City’s only Aquarium.
