21 Jul Mark Your Calendar: AMNH Sleepover Presale Opens August 12
Ever dreamed of spending the night at the American Museum of Natural History? A Night at the Museum: The Overnight Experience gives kids the chance to explore the Museum after dark before settling down to sleep beneath the iconic Blue Whale or surrounded by some of the Museum’s most-loved exhibits.
And if this unforgettable NYC experience is on your family’s wish list, you’ll want to mark your calendar now.
The next presale for October, November and December sleepover dates opens on August 12 at 10:30 am for American Museum of Natural History Members at the Adventurer level or above.
General tickets go on sale August 19 at 10:30 am.
Designed for children ages 6–12 and their chaperones, the overnight experience takes families inside the Museum after regular opening hours for an evening packed with activities and adventure.
Kids can explore the Museum’s legendary fossil halls by flashlight, see dinosaurs including T. rex, discover galleries and exhibits across the Museum, and take part in trivia, scavenger hunts and group games in the Richard Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation.
The evening also includes karaoke, live presentations, a bedtime story, a complimentary bedtime snack and a light breakfast the following morning.
Every explorer also receives a commemorative keepsake and a voucher for a future visit to the Museum.
With previous sleepover dates selling out, families hoping to secure a spot for one of the upcoming fall and winter dates should make a note of those all-important onsale dates.
