30 Mar Knight’s Quest: Chess + Math + D&D Summer Camp

Knight’s Quest is coming to Park Slope for the first time this summer for two weeks! The founders Natasha Komarov (PHD in mathematics) and Khana Itkis (Woman Fide Master) met in a chess class when they were just 8 years old. This summer they have decided to join their individual programs to weave together chess strategies and math puzzles into D&D narratives.

Students will participate in math circles that will incorporate student-led discussion, creativity, and visualization. Our chess classes will challenge students to analyze the games of past world champions and prepare them to play in our daily chess tournament. Dungeons and Dragons will explore students’ creative self expression through role playing and navigating imagined scenarios where they have to utilize concepts from the math and chess classes to solve puzzles! Come join us for the ultimate stem camp, July 29th- August 9th.
