High Line Tour: From Freight to Flowers
Hear the story behind New York City’s park in the sky. Join us for a free tour led by High Line Docents, knowledgeable volunteer guides who offer you an insider’s perspective on the park’s history, design, and landscape.
Winter tour dates between November & April:
Wednesdays, 10am – 10:45am
Saturdays, 12pm – 12:45pm
The starting point for all tours is up on the park at the Gansevoort Street entrance. 90-minute tours that take place between May and October end at 30th Street; 45-minute tours that take place between November and April end at 23rd Street.
No more than twenty people will be permitted on the tour, there are no reservations, and spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
In light of additional concerns surrounding COVID, our docents may request that you wear a mask to join the tour. We ask all tour participants to respect the wishes of our volunteer docents and accommodate these requests.
