Founded in 1872, Dwight is an internationally renowned educator of the next generation of global leaders ― one student at a time. We’re dedicated to crafting a personalized educational journey for each student based on individual passions, talents, and interests, which we call “igniting the spark of genius in every child.” 

Our warm, nurturing preschool is the ideal environment for children to have their first positive classroom experience as early as 3 months–2.5 years in our Wee Wonder and Small Wonder Programs. Our preschool, which begins with 2s, was the first in New York City to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program. Here, language learning starts with Mandarin and Spanish. As students move into our Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, they advance through the vigorous IB curriculum, which is recognized worldwide as the “gold standard” in pre-university preparation.

With a global network of Dwight Schools in New York, London, Seoul, Shanghai, Dubai, and in the cloud with Dwight Global Online School, students have many exciting opportunities to travel and participate in cross-campus cultural exchanges in person and virtually.
