The property

At Camp Corlears, classic summer adventures are the focus, with plenty of outdoor time, arts and crafts, and fun with friends at the heart of it all.

Head counselors are primarily Corlears School teachers (and always experienced school teachers) with extensive experience in nursery, preschool, and elementary classrooms. Not only do they know how to keep children engaged, but they are exceptional at facilitating growth through play, and creating nurturing environments for discovery and friendship.

Corlears School has 50+ years of experience educating young children, and all camp programming has been intentionally designed with developmental readiness — and fun! — in mind.

Programming highlights include:

Daily sprinkler time for the 3s and 4s (weather permitting)
Soccer classes 2x/week for the 3s, 4s, and 5/6s
Instructional swim 2x/week for ages 5+ at a nearby pool
Sports 2x/week for ages 7+ led by a dedicated P.E. instructor
Local field trips 1x/week for ages 4 and up
Optional after-camp math and literacy clubs for ages 5+ designed to keep summer slide at bay
Fun weekly themes to guide activities

For 2026, Camp Corlears will run for six weeks, from June 22-July 31. Each Camp session is one week long; families can register for one session or multiple sessions, and multiple sessions do not need to be consecutive. The standard camp day runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm, although the 3s have a half-day option that ends at noon. After-camp is available until 5:00pm for an additional fee.

Centrally located in the heart of Chelsea, nearby the A/C/E, 1/2/3, and L trains. Facilities include beautiful light-filled classrooms, a multipurpose gym, art studio, and a private natural backyard playground.
