Camp Waukeela is nestled in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire on the shores of Crystal Lake in the town of Eaton, just minutes away from North Conway.
Waukeela is a lakeside summer camp for girls ages 7 to 15, and committed to helping young women discover the very best version of themselves, encouraging them to fall in love with who they are, and helping them bring out the very best in other people at the same time.
Waukeela Campers are encouraged to be unique, lower their guard, lose their image, and discover their true selves. Waukeela encourages campers to lose themselves in the moment by enjoying natural and spontaneous, belly-laughing fun. The uniqueness and diversity of all campers are encouraged and celebrated. Campers are given the space to express themselves comfortably. Whether a camper feels quiet and introverted or outwardly extroverted, Waukeela provides guidance through space and activities allowing kids to discover new aspects of their personality.
Whether you love sports, arts, or adventure, Waukeela has many fantastic activities. Waukeela offers over 30 activities in performing arts, creative arts, land sports, water sports, and outdoor adventure. Waukeela campers get the chance to try many activities they have never experienced before, in addition to choosing their own favorite activity each day. Waukeela also offers a fantastic adventure program where campers can canoe, hike, and backpack.
Camp directors, Gillian and Graham Moore, are dedicated to continuing a legacy where girls from all over the world are bonded together through the strong history of Camp Waukeela. From the top, Gill and Graham lead by example and show love and compassion to all campers and staff members. They model the culture they want to exist, and their infectious love of everyone at camp rubs off on the youngest of campers and the oldest of staff.
