14 May Camp Kids ‘N Comedy

Bored with kayaks? Sick of poison ivy? Allergic to everything? This summer camp is for you. This camp is for funny kids who want to learn to write and perform their own original stand-up comedy. We keep it clean. No four letter words, no sexual innuendo and no potty language. With the direction of young comedians and comedy writers, these kids have fun making each other laugh.

Camp Kids ‘N Comedy is the only place that funny kids can learn to write and perform their own original stand-up comedy routines. Spend 2 weeks of your summer learning from professional comics and actors to do improv, reenact scenes from your favorite sketch-comedy shows or write your own sketches and cap it off with your own stand-up comedy show at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. Each show will be performed the last day of each two week session for family and friends. As said before: Classes are taught by professional stand-up comics, improvisors and acting teachers. A casting director or someone from the entertainment industry or from a major network will attend the last sketch comedy class.

Camp runs in 2 week sessions from Monday – Friday from noon until 4 PM.

Session 1: July 8 – 19
Session 2: July 22 – August 2
Session 3: August 5 – 16

Kids can attend one, two or three sessions. Each 2 week session tuition is $1,595.

Classes are divided by age: 10-13 and ages 14-18.

$50 discount if you take more than one session or bring a friend or sibling.
