14 Feb Camp Galil

Camp Galil is a progressive Zionist, rustic overnight Jewish summer camp for campers in 2nd-11th grade with a strong focus on social justice and youth leadership. Located in Bucks County, PA (just an hour and half from Philadelphia), we focus on cooperative living and welcome families from all streams of Jewish life to create a diverse and inclusive community. Camp Galil’s youth leadership model empowers our talented counselors to design all aspects of our summer fun and educational program, and our historic partnership with the Habonim Dror youth movement connects our campers and staff with Habonim Dror youth members from around the world. Our campers and staff come together to create a joyful and energetic community built on Jewish values, a connection to Israel, and social justice for a summer of amazing fun and to build a better world together.

What do Galil campers do every day? They play sports, tackle high and low ropes courses, swim, perform, garden, make art, and go on field trips. They soak up Jewish culture through Israel education, fun Hebrew language activities, Israeli folk dancing, and a spiritual Shabbat experience that begins with welcoming the Shabbat together and ends with a camp-wide Havdalah under the stars.
