Alef Bet is a family-friendly preschool located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Our school offers classes for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years old.
Our integrated preschool curriculum consists of a developmentally appropriate programs inspired by aspects of the Reggio Emilia approach. Our comprehensive curriculum is comprised of a variety of programs that become increasingly complex as children move from Kitah Aspen to Kitah Willow. Our programs are open-ended and reflective. They are intended to showcase each student’s individuality and to help children discover their interests through a variety of first-hand experiences.
We emphasize the importance of each child’s family and the role that parents play in their education. We provide opportunities for parents to participate in our programs throughout the year, and host a number of events, outside of school where parents can make connections and form relationships with other members of our community.
