A New York City Halloween Tradition Returns! The Laurie Berkner Band’s Monster Boogie Halloween Concert

A Halloween tradition for NYC area families is back! Kids’ music superstars Laurie Berkner and The Laurie Berkner Band invite families to boogie on down and stop in for a spell at a “Monster Boogie Halloween Concert” at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29 at Adler Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street, New York, NY.

“I love Halloween!,” says Laurie Berkner. “And I love our Halloween band shows! I am so excited to be coming back to New York City – where I started my career in kids’ music – to play our annual Halloween Concert again this year. My absolute favorite part of the show is looking out into the audience and seeing all of the amazing costumes, especially when entire families dress up as one of my songs!”

Laurie will treat little tricksters to her brand-new Halloween song, “Halloween Train.” She’ll have everyone singing along to “What Am I Gonna Be (for Halloween)?,” “Monster Boogie,” “The Cat Came Back,””I Picked One Pumpkin,” and “Choc-o-lot In My Pock-o-lot.” Laurie and the band will also perform an array of such well-loved Laurie Berkner hits as “We Are the Dinosaurs,” “Victor Vito,” “Chipmunk at the Gas Pump,” “The Goldfish,” “Moon Moon Moon,” and “Pig On Her Head.”

Laurie Berkner and her bandmates – Brady Rymer (bass), Susie Lampert (keyboards), and Bobby Golden (drums) – look forward to wearing their favorite Halloween attire for this spooktacular show. Kids and grownups alike are also encouraged to come in costume, bring their dancing shoes and a stuffed animal (for their heads!) and get set for an un-boo-lievably fun time.
