Climate Film Festival – Kids & Family Programs

Climate Film Festival, NYC’s largest environmental film festival is back for its second year and we’re excited to introduce two very special programs for kids and their families!

Saturday September 20

Seedling Shorts – Join us for this family-friendly shorts program filled with puppets, community gardens, and Mark Ruffalo-guided adventures. These films tackle climate education 101, and big feelings around our shared planet — while finding joy and light to guide us through the tough conversations.

Sunday September 21

Future Council – This inspiring and rollicking journey, where School of Rock meets An Inconvenient Truth, results in the children forming a Future Council to advise and influence the world’s most powerful companies on their decisions that impact nature.

Climate Film Festival runs from September 19–22, 2025 during climate week NYC.
