Our mission
Our program plants roots so your child has a strong moral compass, becomes a lifelong learner, and has a strong cultural connection to Europe. At the same time, we give your child wings to soar further into life’s adventures by giving them ownership over their own educational journey.

What sets us apart
Wurzelkinder is a unique educational experience that prioritizes children’s rights, participation and democracy, anti-bias education, environmental learning, early academics, and the fostering of each child’s Brooklynite identity. All of that is done using the immersion concert in German.

Our setting
Our philosophy is centered around the concept of collaborative learning. We understand that children are socially motivated and can learn meaningfully from each other. To support these connections, we offer a mixed-age group of children from 2 to 5 years old. This approach provides a variety of long-lasting benefits to children’s development: helping them find their place in the world, learning how to navigate social situations, and being able to live in dynamic social roles. By engaging in these experiences, your child will grow physically and emotionally while expanding their knowledge and skills in a play-centered, stimulating environment.
