The 35th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York is scheduled for August 9–10, 2025, at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. This free, family-friendly event celebrates the Year of the Snake with two days of thrilling dragon boat races, featuring over 180 teams and 2,000 athletes from across North America. Races begin at 9:00 AM each day and include various categories such as Open, Youth Invitational, Charity, Non-Profit, and Corporate Challenges.

Beyond the races, attendees can enjoy live cultural performances, traditional Chinese music and dance, martial arts demonstrations, and a diverse array of food vendors offering Asian and international cuisine.
