25 Feb Rock on Rock! Ice Show Returns for Its 6th Annual Production with “Olympic Celebration” at Rockefeller Center
International-themed showcase to feature soloists, synchro teams, pairs, ice dance, and youth performers in a tribute to the Olympic spirit
Rock on Rock! Ice Show will return for its 6th annual production on Monday, March 2, 2026, at The Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York City, presenting this year’s theme: “Olympic Celebration.” The event will bring together skaters of all ages and competitive levels, from young beginners to senior/international-level performers, for a dynamic on-ice celebration inspired by the Olympic Games.
The 2026 production marks a meaningful milestone for the show, which began during the COVID era when competitions and public skating events were widely canceled. What started as a creative response to a difficult moment for the skating community has grown into an annual showcase highlighting athleticism, artistry, and community.
This year’s program will celebrate the Olympic spirit with international flags and a torch presentation on the ice, evoking the pageantry and unity of the Games in one of New York City’s most iconic venues.

A Celebration of Athleticism, Artistry, and Community
The 2026 “Olympic Celebration” theme is designed to honor both the grandeur of international sport and the local skating community that sustains the discipline year-round. By combining ceremonial Olympic-inspired elements with performances across age groups and disciplines, Rock on Rock! Ice Show aims to create an accessible, family-friendly event that showcases the diversity and excellence of figure skating.
Hosted at The Rink at Rockefeller Center, the show also reinforces New York City’s longstanding relationship with winter sports, performance, and public gathering in landmark spaces.
Now in its sixth year, Rock on Rock! Ice Show was launched during the COVID period as an alternative performance opportunity when many skating competitions and events were canceled. The production was created to maintain momentum, morale, and visibility for skaters during a period of major disruption to the skating world.
Since then, the show has continued as an annual event, growing into a celebrated platform for skaters, coaches, families, and audiences.
