Summer Solstice and Nature Center 20th Anniversary Planting Celebration

Summer is upon us- and that means plenty of sun.  Let’s celebrate the sun, the plants that grow from the sun’s rays, and the colorful variety of birds and insects who benefit from these plants. Try your hand at some crafting activities, including an upcycled suncatcher, and plant something to take home- and something that can be appreciated by all visitors to the Greenbelt this summer- and next.  This program is sponsored in part by the City Gardens Club of New York City.
