
Sinterklaas – Saint Nicholas Day Celebration
Join us on Saturday, December 2nd for our 22nd Annual Sinterklaas- St. Nicholas Day Celebration. We hope you can join us for an outdoor day full of craft activities, a tree lighting, and a special visit from St. Nick.
Children will enjoy a visit from St. Nicholas as he arrives on horseback around 2:30 p.m. St. Nicholas will tell the traditional tale of The Baker’s Dozen and children are invited to sign the Red Book. Sip hot cider, try your hand at colonial games, create a holiday pomander, decorate a Dutch clog for Sinterklaas, and dress the tree for the tree lighting that will close the day as the sun goes down.

2 p.m. Grounds open with crafts and activities
2:30 p.m. Learn the traditional Sinterklaas Song
2:45 p.m. St. Nicholas arrives on horseback, meet the horses
3 p.m. Story time with St. Nicholas: The Baker’s Dozen
3:15–4 p.m. Sign the Red Book and take photos with St. Nick
4:00 p.m. Tree decorating and lighting
What to expect on your visit:
We recommend dressing warmly as all activities will take place outdoors in the park.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ups will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis, capacity permitting.
Mask wearing is encouraged but not required.
We recommend using the restroom before your arrival. There is two port-o-sans on the property.
This event is free to attend with ticket reservations. Select craft activities, refreshments, and holiday items will be available on-site for purchase.
