Sheep Shearing Festival

It’s time for a haircut! Watch as our sheep and alpaca get their much-needed spring trims.

Celebrate Spring on the farm at NYC’s ONLY sheep shearing festival. Farmer-led tours and sheep shearing demonstrations connect visitors to life on the farm.

*Jump around with a farm-wide scavenger hunt and enjoy hands-on kids crafts
*Egg-cellent local food vendors, craft vendors, and fiber artisan showcases (spinning, natural dyeing, weaving, knitting, andcrochet)
*Visit the farm’s other animals and Antique Tractor Exhibit
*Shop a selection of Queens Farm’s very own yarn, pick up seedlings for your home garden at *Queens Farm’s spring plant sale atthe Farm Store
*Enjoy a hayride to top off your day ($6 a person, children under 3 are free)
*Free Adriance Farmhouse tours will take place throughout the day (11am-4pm)
