Queens Botanical Garden School Holiday Programs: MLK Day
During this 9am-3pm drop-off program, young gardeners will learn about food justice movements in Black history, start seeds in our greenhouse, make recipes, and explore our interconnected ecosystems. Children will enjoy the Children’s Garden, where they spend time gardening, playing, observing, and learning in a nurturing environment.
This program is for drop-off only and takes place mostly all-outdoors. Participants may go indoors for inclement weather. Masks are not required. We kindly require that all children are able to use the bathroom independently.
Your registration supports Queens Botanical Garden, the place where people, plants, and cultures meet! QBG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
