Manga for Teens: Manga Masters

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw like your favorite manga artist? Now you can! In this class, we’ll break down the styles of the most popular series and what technical features make them unique, then try our own hand at imitating them. Go from drawing your favorite character to drawing an original character in the same style. To make the class your own, class participants can vote on which artists we focus on each week!

About Manga for Teens: Our manga courses for teens offer budding artists the chance to explore the rich world of Japan’s most popular cultural export in a group of like-minded peers and with guidance from professional artists. Students will get to draw characters from their favorite series and try a variety of popular styles, all while developing the fundamentals necessary to create original characters and manga with their own unique artistic voices.

With several courses offered each semester, we have options suited to both complete beginners and experienced artists.
