Come to the Bronx Zoo for free this Wednesday! Explore more than 265 acres filled with over 10,000 animals. In fact, you’ll encounter over 6,000 fascinating species—from tiny toads to giant cats. The Bronx Zoo, operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society, first opened its gates on November 8, 1899. Since then, it has welcomed millions of guests. Over the years, it has grown into a treasured place where city dwellers can connect with nature. Additionally, the zoo serves as a living classroom for people of all ages. Furthermore, it plays a key role in global conservation efforts by protecting species and their natural habitats.

How To Book
Limited admission is free all day on Wednesdays at the Bronx Zoo. ADVANCE TIMED TICKETS ARE REQUIRED. The Wednesday Ticket Store will open on Monday at 5:00pm for that Wednesday’s reservations. DO NOT come to the zoo without a reserved ticket.

* The Wednesday Bronx Zoo Tickets Store will open Monday afternoon at 5pm for that Wednesday’s reservations.
* Limit: 4 tickets per order.
* All visitors aged 3 and older need a Wednesday ticket to enter.
* You must reserve with your name and a valid email. Tickets are only valid for the selected date.
* Entry is contactless. Show tickets on your phone or bring a printed copy.
