Family Afternoon – Threads Through History

Sunday, April 14, 1–4 pm

Come ready to look, imagine, and create!  Drop in for free, hands-on family fun. Enjoy a special puppet show that follows the adventures of a gold beater apprentice in Renaissance-era Venice and learn about gold thread and gold leafing. Performances begin at 1:15 pm and 2:45 pm.

Drop in for other family-friendly events throughout the afternoon, including a tour and an art-making activity. Families with children of all ages and abilities are welcome; recommended for children ages 3–11 years. Materials are provided.

Free with Museum admission; admission is free for children under 12 with an adult. Note: Space for the puppet show is limited; first come, first served.
