No school? Come to zoo camp! Our 1-day, 2-day and 5-day camps are offered on many school break days during the year. Campers experience up-close animal encounters, hands-on activities, and wildlife investigations led by our WCS Educators.
ONE DAY CAMP: TROPICAL EXPEDITION – Grades 3 – 5 – Monday, 1/20/25
Brr! It’s cold outside, so we’re heading to warm up with a visit to the Tropics! We’ll explore it all in this one-day camp including colorful birds and reptiles, fruit loving mammals, and even giant invertebrates! Campers will meet animals upclose and complete tropical trials as we trek from forest floor to emerging treetops.
ONE DAY CAMP: SNAKES ON THE PLAINS – Grades K – 2 – Wednesday, 1/29/25
Celebrate the year of the snake as we investigate some sssssensational adaptations of snakes from grasslands and plains. Through hands on activities, exhibit visits, and up-close animal encounters, we’ll learn more about this slithery and special animal.
FIVE DAY MID WINTER CAMP: ZOO CAMP GONE WILD – Grades 1 – 5 – 2/17/25 – 2/21/25
No passports required for this week long adventure camp at the Central Park Zoo! At Zoo Camp Gone Wild, we’ll discover animals from around the world without leaving Manhattan and explore some of the wildest, wackiest and super unique adaptations that they have! Campers will conduct investigations, travel around the Zoo, and meet animals up close!
FIVE DAY SPRING BREAK CAMP: ZOO CAMP GONE WILD – Grades 1 – 5 – 3/24/25 – 3/28/25
No passports required for this week long adventure camp at the Central Park Zoo! At Zoo Camp Gone Wild, we’ll discover animals from around the world without leaving Manhattan and explore some of the wildest, wackiest and super unique adaptations that they have! Campers will conduct investigations, travel around the Zoo, and meet animals up close!
FIVE DAY SPRING BREAK CAMP: SPRING INTO ACTION – Grades 1 – 5 – 4/14/25 – 4/18/25
Come to Spring Break Camp at the Central Park Zoo and spring into action! Campers will investigate environmental mysteries and challenges around the world and discover how New Yorkers take action to help wildlife and wild places here in New York City and across the globe. Hands-on activities, animal investigations, and animal encounters make this week unforgettable!
