Spend the summer belting it out, exploring entertaining characters, and shimmying across the dance floor with Broadway Bound Kids! This summer, we will be offering:

Kids on Broadway: July Weekly Summer Programs for Young Performers (K-3rd) – 7/8-7/26
Curtain Up! 3 Week Musical Theater Intensive ft. Masterclasses with Broadway Stars (3rd-12th) – 7/29-8/16

Kids on Broadway: July Weekly Programs

Kids on Broadway offers students grades K-3 the option to enroll for just one week, mix and match for two weeks, or dive in for all three weeks! Each unit will have a unique theme (Witches and Wizards of Broadway, Broadway Meets Barbie and BBK’s Got Talent) and will culminate in an original musical performance. Students in these week-long programs perform in an original musical featuring popular songs from Broadway and beyond!

Witches & Wizards of Broadway (July 8th-12th)
Release your inner magic: Inspired by the Broadway smash hits like Wicked and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as well as hit TV series like Descendants, students in this program will update the tales of their favorite classic witches, wizards, heroes and villains!

Broadway Meets Barbie (July 15th-19th)
Hi, Barbie! Even though she’s limited edition, Broadway Barbie knows that pink goes with everything, especially under the lights of the Broadway stage. Barbie and all of the Mattel characters we know and love serve as inspiration for this fantastical week of creation.

BBK’s Got Talent! (July 22nd-26th)
Let’s face it – we’ve all watched a TV talent competition and imagined ourselves belting it out on the stage. American Idol, The X Factor, The Voice, and countless other shows have been a major part of the culture! In BBK’s Got Talent, performers will create a musical inspired by the triumphs of television competitions.

Curtain Up! Musical Revue and Masterclasses

In this three-week intensive, BBK teaching artists will work with students to create a cohesive musical revue based on the songs and shows that light up Broadway! At the end of each week, students will take part in a Masterclass with a Broadway performer and have a chance to perform for them. This incredibly fun program is designed to scale to each student’s individual experience, ability, and passions. You don’t want to miss your Broadway Moment!
