14 Jul Families Invited to Co-Design Media with Sesame Workshop
Families with preschoolers have the chance to take part in a special creative project with Sesame Workshop and The GIANT Room this August.
The GIANT Room has partnered with Sesame Workshop to co-design new family learning experiences and media focused on nature and extreme weather. Families with children ages 4–6 are invited to apply for three in-person creative workshops taking place at Sesame Workshop on the Upper West Side.
During the sessions, children and caregivers will take part in hands-on activities, share ideas, build prototypes and give feedback on how families explore topics like nature and extreme weather together.
The workshops will take place on Tuesday, August 4, Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6, from 3–5pm. At least one parent and one child ages 4–6 must attend, and siblings ages 7 or 8 are also welcome to join. Families selected to participate are asked to attend all three sessions.
As a thank you for taking part, participating families will receive a $25 gift card per session.
This is a lovely opportunity for young children and their caregivers to get creative, share their ideas and help shape meaningful learning experiences for families.
