The Brooklyn Strategist has been providing Brooklyn with quality game-focused programming for over 15 years. Whether your child is interested in board games, card games, or role-playing games, we offer an environment that emphasizes face-to-face interaction free from any digital distractions.
Every weekday this summer, starting at 9:00 am (with drop offs starting at 8:30), we facilitate a wide variety of ludographic activities. Our staff provides hands-on, expert guidance and instruction, helping kids from 5 years old (Kindergarten) up to 16 years old learn rules, tell stories, navigate competition, and, most importantly, have a blast.
We are excited to run Summer Camp out of our brand new location right next to Borough Hall! For those of you who remember us from our old location, we are now a quick 20 minute walk up Court St, in a newer, more spacious, and brighter storefront.
The public transportation options are much improved, as we now sit immediately off the 2, 3, and R, and a quick walk from the A, C, and F trains. For our lunch breaks, we now have access to outdoor play options at both Cadman Plaza Park (for our soccer kiddos) and Pierrepont Playground!
We also have a new camp lunch menu this summer! We provide lunch for our full day campers and snacks for all our campers, including AM and PM half-days! Our only caveat: If your child has dietary restrictions, we ask that you pack lunch for them.
Our daily schedule is as follows:

EARLY DROP OFF: 8:30 AM

AM CAMP SESSION: 9:15 AM (kids are broken up by age range & taught games)
SNACK TIME: 10:30AM
LUNCH+AM PICK UP: 12:00 PM
PARK TIME: 12:30-1:30 PM (for full day campers if the weather permits; otherwise we play indoors)
PM CAMP DROP OFF: 1:30 PM
PM CAMP SESSION: 1:45 PM (counselors pitch games, kids choose from selection)
COOKIE TIME: 3:30 PM
PICK UP TIME: 4:30 PM
LATE STAY: 6:00 PM

THURSDAY: SB&J SANDWICH *SB&J= Sunflower Butter & Jelly* (no substitute)
FRIDAY: PASTA W/ RED SAUCE (substitute: plain pasta)
