El Barrio Latino Children Film Festival

Join us for the 12th annual El Barrio Children Film Festival, December 6 & 7, 2025! This FREE family-friendly event, presented in collaboration with Teatro SEA, brings children and families together to experience films that stimulate imagination, pride, and laughter. All screenings are completely free and open to the community.

Saturday, December 6th kicks off at 1:00pm with the first day of shorts, a delightful program for ages 0-8 featuring six animated films including Tigre Sin Rayas, El Gato Bailarín, and Pasos Para Volar (37 minutes total). At 2:00pm, families can enjoy the feature film HOLA FRIDA (82 minutes). Sunday, December 7th begins at 1:00pm with the second day of shorts, a program for ages 7+ showcasing seven films including El Extraño Caso del Hombre Bala, Agua, Color Piel, and Ceiba y Sus Raíces Taínas (42 minutes total), followed by the feature film SALTA at 2:30pm (85 minutes).
