This winter, give your young performer the gift of creativity, confidence, and joyful self-expression at Atlantic Acting School — home of the Practical Aesthetics technique and one of the most respected acting institutions in New York City. Atlantic’s Kids & Teens Winter Classes invite students ages 4–18 to discover their artistic voice, strengthen essential skills, and find a supportive community where they can shine.

At Atlantic, we believe acting is more than performance,  it’s a pathway for young people to build confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and imagination. Throughout the winter session, students learn to make clear, bold choices, connect truthfully with their scene partners, and trust their instincts. These are skills that help them not only grow artistically but also thrive in school, friendships, and everyday life.

Our winter curriculum is designed to meet each student at their current stage of development.
Younger students enter a world of creative play, storytelling, movement, character building, and imagination-driven activities that spark joy and curiosity.

Older students and teens dive deeper into scene work, script analysis, ensemble building, voice and speech, and the core principles of Practical Aesthetics — the same technique taught in Atlantic’s conservatory and professional training programs.

Every class is taught by our dedicated Atlantic faculty, working artists who bring extensive experience and a genuine passion for teaching young performers. Small class sizes ensure students receive personalized feedback and feel seen, supported, and encouraged throughout their training.
Parents often share that their children leave Atlantic feeling more confident, expressive, and grounded. Whether a student is naturally outgoing or a bit more reserved, our faculty creates an environment where every young actor feels safe to explore, take risks, and grow at their own pace.
