Trick-or-Streets Returns for Its Fourth Spooktacular Season in NYC

Trick-or-Streets is back and bigger than ever. The NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) is once again transforming Open Streets, plazas, and corridors across the city into festive, car-free zones filled with Halloween fun for all ages.

Now in its fourth season, Trick-or-Streets has grown into a two-week festival of frightfully fun events, running from Friday, October 17 through Friday, October 31. These special events turn NYC streets into safe, lively spaces packed with seasonal excitement.

What to Expect

Families can look forward to a wide range of free programming for all ages and abilities, including:

  • Live music and performances
  • Interactive shows and workshops
  • Harvest- and Halloween-themed activities
  • Seasonal arts and crafts
  • Festive photo opportunities

Each celebration is designed to bring local communities together while creating more space for pedestrians during one of NYC’s busiest times of the year.

Citywide Collaboration

Trick-or-Streets is made possible through collaboration between NYC DOT, local partners, and other city agencies, including the Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO) and the NYPD, to ensure that each event is safe, inclusive, and full of seasonal spirit.
