Our inclusive, caring community has been nurturing young learners, ages two to five and their families since the fall of 2002. Our on-going focus is on creating a warm, child-centered, inquiry-based school setting. An emergent curriculum and exceptional child/teacher ratio allows us to focus on children’s interests – exploring aspects of their lives, imaginations, and community in an atmosphere of fun and play. BHS Preschool is known for its strong preschool education and excellent administrative support and results for each child’s successful and joyful transition to kindergarten. We are a Reform Jewish school, teachers introduce the Jewish holidays to children in much the same way they approach curriculum, making it relevant, meaningful and accessible to young learners. Stories, symbols, songs and even the tastes of holidays allow our students to begin exploration of Jewish traditions and values.
